SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Reveal New Coaster Logos
Today both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa revealed the new logos for their 2016 roller coaster additions, both of which are well underway at their respective parks.
SeaWorld Orlando's Mako is themed around the famous species of shark, and the logo (above) clearly reflects that. The ride's signature colors are also reflected in the logo, as Mako will have teal supports with a purple/deep blue track combination.
When Mako opens at SeaWorld Orlando in 2016 it will be the Orlando area's tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster. The ride will stand 200 feet tall, feature a top speed of 73 miles per hour and stretch 4,760 feet long.
Busch Gardens Tampa is also building a new roller coaster for 2016, a family spinning ride named Cobra's Curse. The park also revealed the ride's official logo today, along with some new construction footage:
As you can see the theme park has put up quite a bit of track and supports for Cobra's Curse, including a almost tunnel-like section of supports that I think the train will pass through. This ride's colors are a bit similar to Mako's, only in reverse, and look great next to Montu in the Egypt section.
Can't wait to see more updates from the park as both coasters continue to progress!
