Free Rides On Kingda Ka For A Good Cause!

Six Flags Great Adventure will be hosting "Hope For The Holidays" on November 13, 2009 at the New Jersey theme park to benefit the Salvation Army and Toys For Tots. The event is scheduled to run from 5 to 7 p.m.

Guests may bring an item of winter clothing, blanket, shoes, unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item for free entrance to the park. Others can make a charitable donation of $5 to enter with no item.

Along with exclusive rides on Kingda Ka, the park will offer games, live radio station broadcasts, and free snacks and beverages. How amazing is it to be able to ride a coaster this late in the year in the Northeast!

November 13th will also be the day of the first Project 6, Six Flags' corporate initiative for its workers to commit a day of service to local organizations that better the community. On that day alone over 4,000 Six Flags employees will serve some 28,000 hours in their communities.

With the economy still slow and volunteerism down across the country, this is a wonderful time for Six Flags to launch this new program.
