Kennywood Being Sold? Maybe Not...

I sorta missed this one, but Kennywood's sale to Parques Reunidos isn't quite as final as it was presented a couple months back.

According to this article from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the potential buyer of the property is still assessing the park's books, and the 76 owners of the park are quite divided on whether or not they want to sell at all.

Apparently there was a lot of confusion back in December when owners voted on the sale, and that confusion leaked out to the press and the story was presented as if the sale was final.

The owners must vote and reach a "super majority" which is considerably more than 50% in order for the sale to be official on Kennywood's end.

So, perhaps this long time family tradition will remain just that?
