As the snow melts on the Lake Erie shore, two of Waldameer Park's three new family rides appear. Construction is nearly finished on the SS Wally (Zamperla Rockin' Tug), and the cups for Wendy's Tea Cups arrived on site days ago. The Flying Swings are scheduled to be delivered next week.

All three attractions are located between Ravine Flyer 2 and the Sea Dragon in the new "North End" area. The North End will also feature gardens, an eight-foot tall water fountain, and a 20 foot entry arch, continuing Waladmeer's tradition of keeping the park well landscaped. Waldameer opens on May 7.

In the south, ground work continues on Buzzsaw Falls. The five-story shoot-the-chutes will be Alabama Adventure's first major addition in over five years. Vertical construction should start soon, if it hasn't already. More photos found on Alabama Adventure's Facebook page. Buzzsaw Falls opens this spring.
