Coney Island Developments

According to the countdown clock on their brand new website, there are only 34 more days until NYC's Luna Park reopens, and its new neighbor, Scream Zone, debuts to the public.  This year Zamperla will also be operating the classic Cyclone roller coaster, creating a trio of attractions under their reign.

But back to Scream Zone - progress has been swift.  The Soaring Eagle (Volare moved from Elitch Gardens) is nearly complete, and the Zenobio spinning thrill ride is standing tall.  A sling shot and the Steeplechase coaster will arrive at the park by month's end.  These four attractions will be the focus of the $12 million investment that is the Scream Zone.

The 2011 season for all the attractions is set to start on April 16th.
