Six Flags Nigeria

Plans were announced today for a 250 acres Six Flags branded theme park in Nigeria, located in West Africa. The park comes as part of the government's "Destination Tourism" plan, and is scheduled to open in 2013.

Similar to the deal for the planned park in Dubai, Six Flags will provide "concept development and master planning services" for the park. While it is not clearly spelled out in the new brief, it would seem that Six Flags will only help in the design phase, and will not own the park itself.
