Good things come to those who wait, and in this case we've waited several years for Aquaman Power Wave to open at Six Flags Over Texas, and the time has finally come!  The thrilling water attraction was first announced in late 2019 and planned to open in 2020.  The pandemic had another idea about that, but then the ride was further delayed in order to make capacity improvements - in the end the ride is opening about 3 years later than expected.

Aquaman Power Wave is the first water coaster of its kind in North America, and is one of Mack Rides' PowerSplash attractions.  It utilizes launches to send the car forward and backward up two 150 foot tall towers over 700 feet of track at a top speed of 63 miles per hour.  The park made a change to the ride to add a turntable that allows for two, 20 passenger boats to be used to increase overall capacity.

The ride features a giant splash at the end of the last dive off the tower which is sure to soak riders along the way.
