The frightening fun of SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream is set to return for its 20th year this fall, the park has announced. Set to be the "biggest and scariest" Halloween event in Texas, Howl-O-Scream will run for 22 nights at SeaWorld San Antonio from September 17th through October 31st.
This year's event will feature several new items, with more details coming in the future, including "scarier haunts, expanded terror-tories, and an all-new horror-filled house." Details on the theme of the new haunted house are a secret for now, but the park promises that "dark minds have been brewing new ways to terrify" those who are brave enough to enter.

The park will also have live entertainment as a part of Howl-O-Scream, including "Monster Stomp!" at the Nautilus Theater. The park's festive and frightening atmosphere is also complimented by several Halloween bars, offering cocktails and other libations.
And if the haunts aren't scary enough for guests, the park's terrifying roller coasters will be open for rides in the darkness! Howl-O-Scream is a nighttime event for adults, but during the day the park will still hold Spooktacular, a family friendly Halloween event for all ages. Offering non-scary fun, the daytime brings activities such as a hay maze, dance party, parade, trick-or-treating and more! The daytime event will also feature a new Dia de los Muertos themed area in 2021.
