Take a Spin on Liseberg's Helix

After being announced in October of 2012, the long construction timeline of Helix at Liseberg has come to an end.  The coaster, designed by Mack, has two separate launches along with a drop directly out of the station, seven inversions and over 4,500 feet of track.

That track length is especially long for a launch coaster, many of which barely make it over 3,000 feet.  All that extra track can really be noticed during the above point of view ride, as there is about one minute and twenty seconds of solid ride time before the train hits the brakes.

Helix will open to park guests on April 26th, you can check out the coaster's official website with tons of photos and other details at this link.
