Six Flags Magic Mountain Names 19th Coaster

Six Flags Magic Mountain has named their 19th roller coaster - the most at one park in the world - which is set to open this year.  Named Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers, the new children's roller coaster will be a part of a renovated Bugs Bunny World.

Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers will be manufactured by Zamperla, featuring a small lift and helix along 262 feet of track.  This style of coaster can be found at many parks in the U.S., including Silver Dollar City, Dorney Park, and several other Six Flags parks.  Hersheypark is also adding one in 2014, named the Cocoa Cruiser.

As for the construction of the new coaster, and the renovations taking place at Six Flags Magic Mountain's Bugs Bunny World, things are progressing but the ride has not yet been installed.  Check out this recent update from The Coaster Guy to see just what's going on.
