NPN September 2012 Poll Results

While Shoot-the-Chute rides can be found at most parks these days, only a handful have taken the ride to an extreme height, creating a ride that stands out over the crowd.  Last month we asked which of these taller rides was your favorite.

Yes, not even really close.  Jurassic Park River Adventure, found in the U.S. at both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Hollywood, was the runaway winner with 46% of the total vote.  The popular pair of rides are much more than just a shoot-the-chutes, they take riders into the world of Jurassic Park, into a dark building filled with angry dinosaurs and finally down the enormous plunge into the splash pool below.

Here, why not take a ride on the original Universal Studios Hollywood version?

Second place went to Hershey Park's Tidal Force, with third a tie between the new removed Perilous Plunge at Knott's Berry Farm and the pair of Arrow designed rides at Cedar Point and Dorney Park.  Pilgrims Plunge at Holiday World came in as the forth place finisher.

Watch for this month's poll, coming soon.
