Holiday World Enhances Park with Additional Theming

More theming is always a good thing in my opinion, at least when it comes to theme parks.  Holiday World is embarking on a plan to add addition theming to the park by working on three structures for 2014 that will solidify the theme of the area in which they reside.

“Holidays are so magical and fun,” says the parks’ president, Matt Eckert. “Starting this season, we plan to amp up the experience families have with us by adding more theming throughout the park.”

Above are two concepts for two of the 2014 projects.  Holiday World has brought on PGAV Destinations to perform the theming, a company that has worked on huge projects at parks like SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.

The top image is of the Wildebeestro, a food service location in Splashin' Safari featuring grab and go style meals.  Below it is the Safari Outpost shop, also in Splashin' Safari, which sells all the goods one might need for a day at the water park.  Both structures will have cohesive theming that will fit in with the Safari theme of the water park.

The third building is Mrs. Klaus' Kitchen inside Holiday World's Christmas section, where both the inside and outside will receive a new look.  The outside of the structure shows off the holiday theming the park is famous for, and the inside will also have a new home for visits with Santa Claus himself.

Holiday World will open for the 2014 season on May 3rd.  New this year is the Mayflower swinging ship ride.
