The Amusing Ads Archive - RCCA 1993

Roller Coaster Corporation of America built the White Canyon wooden coaster for Yomiuriland for the park's 1994 season, and obviously from this ad they were pretty proud of the achievement. The "traditional American wooden roller coaster" stands 115 ft. tall and stretches over 3,600 ft long. Those statistics make it one of the larger "cyclone" styled wooden rides to have been built.

RCCA, as they are more commonly referred, built wooden rides across the entire globe - from Brazil to Germany. Their rides are not known for having aged particularly well though, and Pegasus at Efteling was just removed, while Son of Beast has a most uncertain future. Many of RCCA's projects on U.S. soil were collaborations between other companies and designers, such as Judge Roy Scream at Six Flags Over Texas.
