One of the nice things about living a few miles from a 127 year old amusement park is that you can find all sorts of goodies at flea markets, auctions, etc.
That's how I came across this gem:
Now unfortunately I know very little about these play-money bills other than what's printed on them. They're from 1961, the park's 77th anniversary. It seems the park had auctions during the summer, but what they were auctioning I'm not sure.
It appears as though guests received one bill with each ride ticket. If anyone has any more details to share by all means, fill us in! I do love the photo of President and General Manager Bob Plarr in the middle.
