A Blast From The Past - A Visit From Christmas Past

Christmas 2010 has passed, all the presents have been open, decorations have been put away and a new year has arrived. Before we bid a fond farewell to the holiday season in this week's Blast we will take a look at some amusement park Christmas cards from year's past

Some parks used their cards as a reminder of up coming attractions, such as this 2002 card from Indiana Beach touting the arrival of the Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain.

Our friends from Six Flags over Georgia sent us Seasons Greetings in 2010

As did the Legoland California folks.

Maurer Sohne sent this rather unique Yuletide card in 2008.

Since the Discovery launch was delayed, the folks at the Kennedy Space Center used the time to created one of the tallest light displays in Florida

DyMoRide's card has us wondering if they may be dropping a hint about their next state-of-the-art, high tech motion system.

Our creative friends from the Sally Corporation sent us this cute, artistic card.

And, last but not least, is a beautiful, Swiss Winter Wonderland from the good people at Bolliger & Mabillard.

We hope that everyone had Happy Holidays and we are looking forward to a thrilling 2011.
