Polin Introduces King Cobra

Polin Waterparks and Pool Systems has announced a wild new water slide named King Cobra to the market. It's been a while since a slide with such massive visual impact has been introduced.

The slide stands over 50 feet tall and is able to accommodate two double tubes at a time, the ride's path is actually two slides in one. Riders start by heading down through both open and closed slide sections, twisting and turning as they race. From here they plummet down 25 ft. at 50 degrees staring into the Cobra's face.

At that point the two rafts are side by side as they fall down, and swoop up into the snake's mouth. Special effects can be added here: fog, hiss sounds, spraying water, and other visual effects are yet another surprise.

Gravity takes over once again and the tubes come back down and oscillates up and down each side of the slide until coming to a rest.

The rafts can either enter a splash pool at the end or have a dry exit to the slide. The unique double slide feature effectively doubles capacity over 'regular' water park slides.

So now the question is who will be the first to build one of these? Polin is based in Turkey but I'm sure they wouldn't mind an American instillation. Wink, wink.
