Scott And Carol Present - Prowling Around Worlds of Fun!

Our trip to Worlds of Fun not only allowed us to check out their Haunt (which was fantastic) but it also allowed us to experience rides on the latest addition to the park's roller coaster line-up.

Prowler is the latest project from Great Coasters International. It is the second wooden coaster GCI has installed for Cedar Fair.

It has been very well received by coaster enthusiasts.

The new attraction even has amenities for those waiting for the rest of their party to ride.

This is the view from the park side of the lift hill.

This is the view from the other side.

Here's a close up, if you are lucky you can catch this view from the train.

This is near the end of the ride, you can catch this view from the front part of the station or the exit ramp.

The Prowler features sinuous curves...

And significant airtime!

This is the swooping turn around.

Even the structural elements are beautiful to look at.

Prowler is surrounded by trees, the park worked very work to save as many as possible.
Since everybody looks happy, they must enjoy Prowler's quick changes of direction.

The cross under before the sweeping turn around...

And, the crossover after.

Another view of the proximity of the trees.

Prowler uses GCI's open face Millennium Flyer trains for a smooth, fast, fun ride.

Did we mention the trees?

One last shot of Prowler racing through the woods!

We were fortunate enough to experience rides on Prowler during the day and at night. It's a fantastic addition to the park! Thanks to Brandon for taking time out of his busy day to take us Prowling around in the woods.
