Along with the announcement came a new Facebook app where fans can join the resistance by creating their own NEST I.D. and "train to fight the Decepticons." The fun continues with the chance to win a vacation to the resort to attend the grand opening in person. Fans will also be able to unlock exclusive content as the opening draws closer.
As with most large new rides and attractions in the Orlando area parks, a schedule of soft opening dates are expected to take place before June 20th, but that's never guaranteed. The June opening puts the ride at a distance from SeaWorld Orlando's Antarctica opening on May 24th, and Disney's Monstrous Summer All Nighter - taking place that same day.
