Holiday World Posts Record Season
Holiday World and Splashin' Safari has posted record attendance figures for the 2010 season, with 1,182,636 guests having visited the theme and water park. The total represents a 14% increase over the 2009 total, which was the park's previous record.
The park's ability to post such substantial increases year after year during such uncertain economic times is astounding. Next year the park will focus on adding a slew of amenities to the park, as well as children's attractions in both the theme and water park.
Holiday World also announced that they will hold a three-day conference for FOAM (Family Owned And Managed), a group of family owned parks. The networking sessions and tours will include the entire park, and even Wildebeest has been kept open for the event.
Among the parks attending will be Quassy Amusement Park, Waldameer Park, Seabreeze Amusement Park, Lake Winnepesaukah, Joyland Amusement Park, Wondland Park, Cliff's Amusement Park, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
