The group that wants to purchase and reopen Jazzland (Six Flags New Orleans) is allowing visitors to its web site to help pick what water slides to build for their 2009 reopening.

Talk about mowing the lawn when the house is on fire! It is a shame to know the park is just sitting there. Let's hope that the new interest group succeeds in rejuvenating the park, but really, maybe they should spend a year just fixing the place up instead of concerning themselves with buying a new water slide!
Yes ... their approach is certainly ... different. But like you said, I hope the best for them. That property is going to need a lot of work.
