Already a park known for its stellar collection of attractions for children and families, Legoland Florida is putting the final touches on its new Duplo Valley expansion.  The park recently installed the entrance archway to the area, seen above in the background, ahead of the grand opening on May 23rd.

Duplo Valley will be specifically tailored to children ages 2 through 5.  It "brings the Lego Duplo line of preschool building toys to life with new farm-themed attractions, an air-conditioned indoor play area, and a water play area."  Seen above are some of the large animal characters that are located in Duplo Valley, including an adorable bunny.

The expansion will also bring a new Duplo Train ride, Duplo Tractor ride, and also a Splay & Play area.  The Duplo Barn will be reopened and now feature air-conditioning to allow the little ones to play in more comfortable conditions.

Legoland Florida has also announced a new Preschool Pass ticket option.  The offer includes weekday admission to the theme park, including parking, for one adult and one child under the age of five for the full year.  Even better, the pass is assigned to the child which means that a different parent or guardian can attend with them throughout the year - and the Preschool Pass is only $90.

“We are excited that the final stages of Duplo Valley are coming into place,” said Legoland Florida General Manager Adrian Jones. “This new expansion, along with the introduction of the Preschool Pass, improves our offering to families with toddlers ages 2-5, giving them a whole new experience only available at Legoland Florida.”

Duplo Valley is scheduled to open to visitors on May 23rd at Legoland Florida.
