Schlitterbahn's Verruckt Reaches High Point

Schlitterbahn Kansas City is still working on Verruckt, which will be the world's tallest water slide when completed, even though it is well into the Summer season.  Building something this large takes time, just take a look at the massive structure that has gone up to support the launch tower and first drop! 

The latest batch of photos from MidwestinfoGuide really show off just how massive the support tower for Verruckt is, when you consider this is a water slide, not a roller coaster, things get really intimidating.  The first drop also plunges below ground level, which will add another layer of thrill.

And yes, the park is still keeping the actual height of the ride a secret!
