This past June we asked you guys what your favorite Cedar Fair 1970's large still-operating roller coaster was. The answer is clear, it is the Beast!
The Beast opened at Kings Island in 1979 with an astonishing 7,359 feet of track that snakes its way through the woods. The coaster raked in 45% of the total vote, making its 1st place finish extremely solid.
Coming in second place is another fan favorite, Gemini and Cedar Point. Then again, pretty much everything at the Point is a fan favorite! Gemini, opened in '78, features steel track atop a wooden structure, one of the earlier big rides out there to feature that combination.
After those two rides the results were pretty close for many other attractions, such as Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion (3rd place) and Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's Berry Farm (4th place).
This month's poll is up and is pretty simple - check it out over on the left!
