Christmas Bricktacular Back at Legoland Florida

The Christmas celebration is now in its second year at Leogland Florida, and this year the Christmas Bricktacular is better than ever and the Kid's New Years Eve will help ring in 2013.

The above Lego Christmas tree is quite a site, standing over 30 feet tall and containing 270,000 Lego and Duplo blocks.  Each night a special family is picked from the crowd to help officially light the tree.  The celebration takes place every Saturday and Sunday on weekends in December.

Holiday themed activities can be found all over Legoland Florida during the Bricktacular, including a Model Build Activity where guests can actually help build the park's next big model, a 20 foot tall Christmas Tree.

Miniland USA is in the holiday spirit, and is hosting the Lego Santa Scavenger Hunt.  There are 45 different Santas hidden among the 30 million blocks that make up Miniland, and guests can try to find as many of them as they can.  One participant each day will be picked to receive a special prize.

The Christmas Bricktacular also offers a meet and greet with Lego Santa and Lego Toy Soldier, decorations found throughout the park, and special entertainment.  For anyone looking to pick up a Lego set as a gift, the park has six different stores that offer some of the most unique and hard to find products anywhere.

On top of all this, the park's rides, shows, and attractions are operating during the event, making for a full day of fun.
