Coney Island Cyclone's New Curves

Check out this neat video that Luna Park has made showing the difference in the Cyclone from 2011 to this season.  The ride has had some major work done to the first drop section of the ride by Great Coasters International, which appears to have smoothed things out considerably.

I got to check out the classic, and possibly world's most famous, Cyclone roller coaster last year - and I have to admit that this work is something the ride needed.  The ride is intense, which is no doubt thrilling, but could benefit from the skilled hands of GCI and their tender loving care.

The coaster will have different sections worked on in the coming off-seasons, eventually replacing much of the ride with new track.  Originally plans were to create new trains for the ride, but those have been scrapped.
