NPN October 2011 Poll Results

In October 2011 we asked our readers which of the operating William Cobb designed wooden coasters in the U.S. was their favorite.  The race this month was pretty close, but the lead spot ended up with Six Flags New England's Cyclone with 23.6% of the votes.  Opened in 1983, the Cyclone features 3,600 feet of rather twisted track, including a top speed of 45 miles per hour.

The race for the 2nd place spot was a close one, and ended up a tie!  Six Flags St. Louis' Screamin' Eagle and Six Flags Over Georgia's Great American Scream Machine both tied with 19.1% of the total vote.  Only one vote behind them was Six Flags Great Adventure's Rolling Thunder.

Monstre at La Ronde, Judge Roy Scream at Six Flags Over Texas, and finally Adventureland's Tornado round out the results.

This month's poll is now live, and asks which new Six Flags addition you're most looking forward to next season.  Go make your choice!
