Take the Bonzai Plunge at Six Flags St. Louis in 2012
After debuting the thrilling SkyScreamer this year, Six Flags St. Louis is focusing its attention on their water park, named Hurricane Harbor, for the 2012 season.
New for guests will be the Bonzai Pipline extreme water slides. This pair of Proslide designed "super loop" slides start with guests entering the Skybox launch capsule at approximately six stories above the ground.
After a short pause the floor will literally fall out from underneath riders, sending them plummeting down into a horizontal loop before hitting the end splash.
Bonzai Pipline will be located to the West of Hurricane Harbor's wave pool when it opens next Summer. Each of the 290 ft. long slides is capable of allowing riders to hit speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, making this water park experience just a tad on the extreme side.
