The Falls is Now Previewing

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, a.k.a. the "World's Best Waterpark" by the Travel Channel 13 years in a row, opens Tubenbach, a HUGE new development that is now open to the public.

The main new Tubenbach attraction is The Falls, touted as the world’s longest waterpark ride filled with rapids, waves, and waterfalls. Riders can enter The Falls from a number of points throughout Schlitterbahn East. After completing the circuit, tubers can take the AquaVeyer℠ (conveyor belt lift hill) back to the starting point.

The new Tubenbach area also features new beaches and connects many of the attractions using the innovative Transportainment™ river, which allows riders to stay in the water from ride to ride. A new heated pool and children's area round out the offerings.

A full trip around The Falls takes approximately 22 minutes to complete.  The journey includes gentle spots, but also keeps the thrill level up with frequent sections of rapids, including drops.  The swirling area near the Treehaus lodging facilities looks especially fun - proving that this is definitely no traditional lazy river.

A recent news story featured the expansion, and provides some great shots of The Falls in action.  A trip to all the Texas attractions is looking more and more like a necessity!
