Weekly Rewind 3.4.11



Lots of Planet Snoopy work underway at Dorney Park and Worlds of Fun.  Check out both parks for the latest photos of the new area's construction.

Great Adventure History took an off-season tour of Six Flags Great Adventure recently, and aside from a huge new coaster lots of change is in the air at the park.

Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at Islands Adventure has reopened after a fire took place on the ride on New Year's day.  Back to its scheduled splashing!

Indiana Beach will build Adventure Point for the park's 2011 season.  The attraction is a zip line, ropes, climbing, and adventure course.

The company that was said to be designing the them park for Festival Tennessee (ITEC) says it has no contract for the project. Eeks.

Harry Potter heads back to London - in 2012 guests can tour the Warner Bros sets where many of the movies were filmed.  Other "attractions" will be announced later.

See ya Papa John's, Six Flags has named Famous Famiglia as their new in-park pizza source.  Must have gotten a way better deal!

Cedar Point announced a new nightly show named American Portrait that will premier this summer.  It will feature high-def images along with music, lasers, and pyrotechnics.

Wildwood's Splash Zone will renovate an existing enclosed slide that now include a water video screen in the tube, along with projects, lights, and music.  A great way to re-energize an older slide!
