Legoland CA - Building Blocks of Success

Finally some good park business news! It seems that Legoland in California is doing quite well these days, at least according to this profile article from the North County Times.

The park recently received a new general manager, and is coming off the successful debut of its additional charge Sea Life Aquarium this past summer. The park is currently trying to get a hotel approved for the property, and that's just the start.

The new manager says a "relatively small attraction is scheduled to be added this year, with a $10 million investment in a new area to follow in 2010." Any park that is planning such an aggressive expansion at the moment must be doing pretty well!

Plus, a whole new section to the park? I wonder what new rides and attractions will be included?
