Cedar Point sized lines eh? That's crazy for CW. Kudos to them!
Yeah seriously, that's pretty awesome for the park. It looks like they have quite a hit on their hands.
If one thing appears to remain true, it's that Cedar Fair adding big hypers to their parks *still* works. (see Magnum, Wild Thing, Steel Force, Mamba, Behemoth, KI09)
Even though I have been discouraged by some of Cedar Fair's decisions as of late, I have to say that this is reassuring to me. It shows that even though there has been a rough transition from Paramount to Cedar Fair, they have a formula that works most of the time. I would really like to see what they have in hold for Kings Island. If it is any thing like Behemoth, Kings Island will have a great year next year.
CW gets bigger crowds than CP, it is actually the highest attended park in North America. This was a great addition.

I was there for season pass night. I got there before the "opening" and still had about an hour wait for the ride (would have been less, but they added the third train right before we got to the station.
We managed to get on it later, too... they had closed the line at 8 or so accomodate everyone.... but they reopened it at 9:45 pm when they extinguised the line before park closing.... so we managed to get on it again, with only a 15 minute wait.
wow...
and to mangler matt... CW gets more ppl than CP
