The first track pieces of Mako, SeaWorld Orlando's new 200 foot tall B&M hyper coaster, are starting to make their way to the park.  They will be traveling 1,000 miles from Ohio where the track and supports are being manufactured, to their new home in Orlando.

Since it is not every day that you see a giant piece of roller coaster track on a truck, SeaWorld Orlando is encouraging those who see it in it its travels to use the hashtag #MakoSighting on social media.  The track piece will be traveling through Cincinnati, Lexington, Knoxville, and Atlanta (among others) on the way to the theme park.

These photos also give us our first real-life look at the colors of Mako's track.  Described by the park as "deep indigo and ocean blue," the two tone track will look fantastic with the Orlando sky set behind it.  When complete, Mako will reach speeds of 73 miles per hour and feature 4,760 feet of track while standing as Orlando's tallest coaster.

Sea World Orlando has also just released an unedited full point of view animation of Mako, available at this link.  The ride will open in the Summer of 2016 as part of a two acre shark themed area at the park.  Can't wait to see this ride go vertical!
