Which park is the rumored park?
That is certainly some intense terrain! This image has had me pondering for quite some time...
SFFT? Lake Compounce? Kennywood? Silver Dollar City? King's Island? Some new park? Somewhere overseas?
I don't know. It also reminds me of the Knoebel's mountain where the chairlift is. I heard there may be a Boulder Dash-like coaster going in there someday (though I would think it'd be internally designed... and they have their hands full already).
We can rule out a bunch of parks for being too flat (most Cedar Fair parks, most of the Six Flags parks). I would also venture a guess that a park with this topography wouldn't already have a GCI, so Dollywood and Hersheypark are out. The thing that concerns me is the cutout in the middle, which looks like it could be an existing building, or maybe it's there for the layout?
Silver Dollar City keeps coming up in reference to what park might get a new GCI... but I honestly do not claim to have any inside info!
Muahahaha.
The next in series is now on Facebook!
Maybe a replacement project for the Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It looks similar to the terrain at that park.
^Can/will you confirm that this is a real project Evan? Or maybe you already did, I didn't see. It'd also be cool to know when this will be built, if you can give out such information at this point.
It does look similar to part of SDC's terrain, minus the weird wedge... The same could be said of a lot of parks though, so I'm not going to get my hopes up.
In any case, this is shaping up to be one of GCII's best coasters. Even though there's not much to look at yet, there's so much space between the lift and the turn on the far right, and so much good terrain. After Prowler, this can only be ten times as good.
