Hong Kong Disneyland is 2 Today

Hong Kong Disneyland turns two today. The park is apparently still providing poor results, or at least lower than desired ones. Not surprising from a park that has Tiki Statues that shoot water listed as an 'attraction' on their map.

The park saw 5.2 million guests in its opening year, and while Disney has not made any number official, reports estimate that this past year it was around 4.8 million.

With Disney currently planning recovery attempts for many of its parks, especially California Adventure and Disney's Hollywood Studios, hopefully the Hong Kong park will have some interesting attractions added after Small World opens next year.

The image above is from the Hong Kong park's Halloween celebration. It sounds like they're going have some great stuff, including the Main Street Haunted Hotel, which sounds like a traditional haunted house - something I've never heard of at a Disney Park.

Forbes has a nice article on the status of the park and the official website has Halloween details.
