Legends Panel 2025
Legends Panel 2025
My how quickly a year goes by. Bob Rogers has brought forth another fantastic Legends Panel for IAAPA this year. This year will be a report from Epic Universe, in case you have lived in a cave for several years, Epic Universe is the new addition to Universal Orlando.
The program features three (3) people from the talent pool at Universal. The first is Eric Parr, who is willing to share a few things from his twenty-five (2)5 years in the themed entertainment business. His proven excellence is only out shadowed by his continuing curiosity to learn new things. As the Senior Vice President, Creative Studio, Universal Creative, he is know for inspiring teams to deliver unforgettable attractions.
Next up is Jody Keller, Vice President, Advanced Technology, Media and Immersive Experiences, Universal Creative. Jody is always pushing to define new limits by pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Overseeing the new technologies that define Epic Universe, she helped the project teams take guest immersion to another level.
Of course we have to have a safety guy. Steve Blum, Executive Vice President, Engineering & Safety, Universal Creative. Not you ordinary engineer, Steve helped refine the creative solutions that allowed the creative visions to shine, while keeping the show both safe and reliable. With over three (3) decades of experience in themed entertainment, he knows how to reliably keep guests enthralled with new things.
Katy Pacitti was the creative lead for bringing us the Isle of Berk. As Senior Director, Executive Producer, Universal Creative, she brought in the rich details and delightful discoveries for guests to explore. With a memorable sense of humor, (she coined the phrase "it takes a village to build a (Viking) village," she is bound to have outstanding stories to share.
So there you have it, Wednesday 4:00 PM, upstairs at room S320ABEF. Just look for the big crowd and you will know you are at the right place. Enjoy!
