Disney California Adventure Gives New Tower of Terror/Guardians of the Galaxy Details

Disney California Adventure has begun the transformation of the Tower of Terror into Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout!, with exterior work already under way.  The theme park has already removed the large sign on the front of the ride, and even more recently scaffolding has started to climb up the side of the building.

While the interior of the ride will be changing dramatically, the outside will be an equally big change when the new attraction opens.  To that end, and probably even more so because work has started, Disney has released new videos and photos that detail the exterior look of Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout!

According to Imagineers on the Guardians project, the ride building (which is a giant power-plant like warehouse) will be full of "reflective elements" along with plenty of "gold and silver accents."  The model, seen above, shows just how the final product is set to appear.  Since the building will be the Collector's home for storing his finds, but also a power plant I think, the Imagineers have referenced "piping and power references" from "oil refineries" to give it the right feel.
