Three New Rides Loop and Spin Their Way Into Six Flags Fiesta Texas

All new thrills have arrived at Six Flags Fiesta Texas' Fiesta Bay Boardwalk themed area, as 3 new attractions are officially open to visitors.  The park has had a Boardwalk themed area for many years, but have totally renovated it for 2016, removing older rides, adding new ones and making the area sparkle once again.

In addition to the new rides, Fiesta Bay Boardwalk has had its physical boardwalk refurbished and there are new food and retail locations throughout.  All facades in the area have been painted with vibrant colors, and even the existing Scooby-Doo Ghostblaster dark ride has received a modern, faster loading system.

This is Hurricane Force 5, a wild spinning ride that has been added to the area.  Riders sit on motorcycle-like seats that face outward on a giant disk.  The disk begins to spin as it travels up and down a "u" shaped track, creating a fun but disorienting experience for riders.

Another addition is Spinsanity, a modern version of the classic Tilt-A-Whirl ride.  Guest sit in cars that rotate freely as the entire ride spins, using gravity to create intense cycles of spins - spin really is the key word here!  This updated version of the ride also features cars that allow for less obstructed views than older models.

Finally, the largest of the three new rides is Fireball, a 72 foot tall looping thrill ride.  Riders sit face to face in the ride's train, which then slowly starts to rock back and forth, climbing higher up the side of the loop.  When enough momentum is gained the vehicle completes the loop, giving riders some awesome hang-time.  The ride continues the loops and then eventually goes in the opposite direction, meaning everyone goes both forward and backwards.

All these attractions are now open at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, check out more information on the park's website.
