Dorney Park Celebrates Summertime Dining with Limited Run Events

Coming to Dorney Park on August 27th and 28th is the Food Truck Rally, where guests will be able to sample a wide variety of offerings from multiple vendors over the course of the weekend.  There will be between ten and fifteen different trucks parked along the Main Midway, coming to cook at the park from the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and New Jersey areas.

Trucks that are already registered include The Tot Cart, The Happy Pita, Roasted Liberties, Licensed 2 Grill and plenty more.  There is no doubt that there will be something for everyone during the event.

There is a full list of participants available on the park's website, with links to each vendor's individual site - so you can plan what you want to try!

Also part of the Food Truck Rally is a special meet and greet with Nick Elmi on Sunday the 28th.  Chef Elmi will be meeting with guests from 12 - 3pm during the event.  He is well known for his appearance on Bravo's Top Chef, but is also a staple in the Philadelphia restaurant scene.  Chef Elmi opened Laurel in 2013, a popular restaurant that serves French/American cuisine.

Although the Food Truck Rally is a couple weeks away, you can still enjoy special dining at Dorney Park on Saturdays and Sundays through the 21st of August with their Summer Clambake event.  The park's Chef is cooking up delicious clambake bags and the experience also comes with unlimited hamburgers, hotdogs, soft drinks and desserts.  Best of all, juniors eat free with a paying ticket.
