NPN November 2014 Poll Results

In November, 2014 we asked our readers which of the Busch Gardens Parks' major roller coaster rides was the favorite.  The two parks have rides that are often counted as some of the best in the world, so I was interested to see which would come out on top.

Our first place finisher was the mighty Apollo's Chariot, which garnered 26% of the total votes.  The Bolliger & Mabillard designed hyper coaster features what seems like countless air-time hills and large helix turn-around.

Second place (13%) went to Griffon, also at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.  Another Bolliger & Mabillard ride, only this one is a dive coaster which has a 90 degree initial drop.  Griffon only beat out our 3rd place ride by two votes, however.   Busch Gardens Tampa's Montu, a B&M inverted coaster, racked up 12% of the poll to gain that spot.

4th place was interesting, a three way tie.  Our first in all the years of our polls, I believe.  Each of the three rides received about 11% of the total votes:  Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Cheetah Hunt and Kumba at Busch Gardens Tampa.

Here are the full results:

As you can see both Gwazi and Scorpion at Busch Gardens Tampa didn't receive much love in this poll.

December's poll is now up - it is similar to this past month's, same company but a different set of parks.  Which is your favorite SeaWorld coaster?
