Scott And Carol Present - Hades 360 at Mt Olympus Pt 1

The park started promoting their new coaster and their Greek heritage during the construction of the original Hades.

This photo from our 2004 Hades construction tour shows the entrance and exit to the parking lot end of the tunnel. The track on the right is the exit from the tunnel and the track on the left is the return back into the amusement park.

Hades was the first roller coaster to feature two bi-directional tracks in the same tunnel. You can see the Mt Olympus sign an the signature go kart track in the background.

Here is a shot of the original profile of Hades parking lot turn around.

From 2005 to 2012 this five car two bench PTC train was Hades rolling stock.

This shot from the Hades media day in 2005 graced the back cover of a Wisconsin attractions magazine.

This is what the Hades parking lot section profile  looked like as it operated during the 2012 season.

Here's a street view of some early work on the tunnel exit section.

Here's a snowy parking lot view of the same section. A close look exposes some of the original Hades footers, poking up through the snow.

A wide angle view shows a bit more of the parking view of Hades 360.

Here's a shot of construction on the parking lot exit back when there was still snow. Soon we will present Part 2, with more recent construction photos and a surprise conversation.
