Let The Cedar Fair Hauntings Begin

Can you believe it is already time for Halloween events to start taking place?  Tonight many parks across the Cedar Fair chain will summon their creepiest, nastiest ghouls and the haunting will begin.  Among them...

• Carowinds, or should I saw SCarowinds, will open their eight haunted houses and four scare zones, along with the all new Blood Drums live show this evening.  Eternal Jamnation and Creatures of the Night will also entertain visitors as they try, hopelessly, to avoid the 400 plus monsters roaming the park.

• Dorney Park is celebrating their fifth year of Halloween Haunt with a selection of all new attractions, and the return of the Zombie Invasion.  Guests who attend tonight may dress like zombies, a special treat.  New this year are haunted houses Desolation and Blood Shed, along with a new scare zone, Head Hunters.

• Cedar Point is still staying strong and using the HalloWeekends name for their scary event, and this year there's plenty new for visitors to check out.   A brand new haunted house building has gone up, and in it is Eden Musee, a new haunted wax museum, and Cut Throat Cove, and outdoor haunt filled with some nasty pirates.

• World of Fun is having a special ZombieWorld event tonight, before the full Halloween Haunt starts tomorrow.  Tonight visitors can dress as their favorite zombie, and preview the park's new Zombie High haunt attraction.  Starting tomorrow the full event kicks in, including the full spread of 10 different haunted houses and zones.
