Feel the Force at Legoland Florida this November

Legoland Florida is already undertaking an expansion of its offerings, and you could say that this one is 'out of this world.'  The "force" arrived at the park today when it announced that an all new Lego Star Wars Miniland Cluster will be added to the park in November 2012.

Created entirely from 1.5 million Lego bricks, the interactive area "will include scenes and characters from the iconic movie series."  A similar display has already proven to be extremely popular at sister park Legoland California.

The park was proud to show off a massive Millennium Falcon starship as well as a life-sized Darth Maul at the announcement, both made completely of bricks.  The Star Wars section of Miniland will be its eighth, joining existing recreations of famous cities such as Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco.

Legoland Florida will be celebrating the upcoming Fall season with a giant Brick or Treat celebration.  For more information, check out the official park website.
