Quassy Drop Tower Makes Its Debut

The first new ride to appear on the scene as part of Quassy Amusement Park's $5 million multi-year expansion plan opened to the public this past Saturday. Free Fall 'N', a drop tower ride manufactured by SBF Visa Group, beckoned to both the young and the young at heart as the park kicked its 102nd season of operation into high gear. The public's reaction?

I've said it before and I'll say it again--A picture speaks a thousand words! It would appear that Free Fall 'N' gets "two thumbs up" from this family, and they were not alone in their opinion. According to Quassy's Facebook page, park patrons were lining up all day to experience this new family thrill ride.

Free Fall 'N' stands only 35 feet tall--a drop in the bucket (pardon the pun) compared to the tower rides located at some of today's mega thrill parks. But don't tell gravity! As evidenced by this photo, this little baby still packs a punch.
