Terminator The Ride

It must be movie tie-in day in the amusement park world! The Funland Blog is reporting some details of Six Flags Magic Mountain's new 2009 wooden coaster, Terminator The Ride.

The Great Coasters International, 100 ft. tall, 2,850 ft. long ride will hit speeds of 55 mph during it's run, and is set to be announced this week according to Funland. The ride will also have what looks like a S-curve first drop, like Renegade at Valleyfair!'s, a station fly-through, and on board audio.

Seems all the rumors were true on this one, with the theme (Terminator) and the location of the ride being in the same spot as the park's former wooden coaster Psyclone.
