Wild West World News

The soap opera saga that is Wild West World is continuing, but now it's almost all positive news to report.

The newest park owner is hoping to reopen the amusement park as a cowboy themed extreme thrill park next spring. They are also saying that Wild West World will be no kiddie park, but cater to young, thrill seeking adults. They want to build a large wooden roller coaster, bungee jump, and drop ride.

The park owner has a contract with a new operator, but the details of that deal are not completed. The operator runs fair midways during the summer, and must agree to contingencies in the contract to have the park staffed and ready. Bringing in new rides could start as early as next month if the last details are worked out.

Sounds promising, I hope everything comes to fruition.
