Some New Behemoth Photos

I haven't forgotten that big new coaster up North - Canada's Wonderland has posted some new photos recently of the Behemoth construction going on at the park.

Progress on the ride's station area is moving right along, you can see that the station is having its roof put on. The roof is red, which is a Cedar Fair trademark, so that's not too surprising - and hey, it matches Talon even more now!

Here's a link to the park's photos

I was sort of hoping that the ride would have theming that matched the thought put into the logo of the ride. I guess I was imagining something like Goliath's (SFMM) theming. While the station is far from built, I don't think this is going to happen. I sincerely hope that this is not the start to a step away from theming for the former Paramount parks.

The one thing that does sound cool for Behemoth is they're going to have some huge letters spelling out Behemoth is a semi-circle at the entrance plaza.

As far as theming ... I think you're sadly 100% correct in thinking this is the first good example of what kind of theming Cedar Fair will put into the former Paramount Parks: little to none.

I'm excited to see Firefall at California's Great America to see if they theme it at all - or if it's a cement pit with some gas lines and fountains in it under the ride.

I do like the idea of the letters, this seems to suggest that they contracted with the same sign/theme company that was used at SFMM, as that's the exact entrance of Goliath. Again, let's hope both of us are wrong about the future direction of those companies.
