Disney War: Book Review

I know it's not a new book, but I finally just finished my copy of Disney War by James B. Stewart. I think I got it for Christmas last year and it sat around since then...

Regardless, it's a really good book. Yeah it's like 600 (at times feels like 6,000) pages, but there's so much information contained in those pages it's incredible.

Everyone knows that Michael Eisner did some great and not-so-great things for the Walt Disney Company over the years, but if you're really interested in hearing exactly how he operated as a leader this is the place for that.

Be warned, though, if you're looking for theme park related juicy stuff, well, this isn't the book for you. It relies heavily on the movie studio side of the company, and the parks do not come up all that often.

Still, I found it to be a fantastic read. I always thought that current leader, Bob Iger was a good choice for the company with Eisner gone, now, I'm not so sure.

If interested, you can get a used Hardcover or Paperback version for like $3.00 though Amazon.
