Sesame Street Bay Of Play

It's one of those awkward half way announced things, but Sea World San Diego's addition for the 2008 season is the Sesame Street Bay of Play.

I happened upon the above show of the park's new interactive map and they listed the area already. (Not sure if that's really what it'll look like though) But don't try to find out any more about the area on the park's website.

Instead, turn to Park World Magazine. They have an article about Sesame Street and parks, and cover Sesame Street Bay of Play.

The two acre area will have three family rides, including what sounds like tea cups and a themed rock'n'tug, a live show, character meet and greets, and best of all, the Sesame Street 4-D movie.

I'm not sure if it's the one at Universal Studios Japan, but probably. I doubt there's more than one version.

Anyway, sounds neat - but living so close to Sesame Place for my whole life perhaps I'm spoiled. Anyway - it's a very smart decision for the park. Kudos.
