Massive Spinning Ride - Harley Quinn Spinsanity - Opening Next Year at Six Flags New England

Six Flags New England has revealed that the Joker's partner in crime, Harley Quinn, will be bringing a thrilling new ride to the park in 2018.  Named Harley Quinn Spinsanity, the massive swinging pendulum ride will deliver "epic thrills" for visitors to the theme park.

Harley Quin Spinsanity will seat 40 riders facing outward on the edge of a giant disc that is capable of swinging at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.  The disc will rotate as the arm swings, giving a disorienting feeling.  Capable of hitting a maximum height of 147 feet, riders will be higher than all the different roller coasters at the park directly adjacent to the new thrill ride.  At the peak of the pendulum's swing riders will be treated to a weightless feeling, adding to the thrill.

The attraction will be built in the Southern end of the park, right next to the Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster which opened this year.  The concept art above shows how the ride will be positioned in the park.  It would appear that at least the park's Tea Cup ride will be removed or relocated in order to make enough room for the addition.  The Southern end of the park is quickly becoming themed to DC Comics, with the Joker, Batman and now Harley Quinn now calling it home.  However, the park already has the DC Super Hero Adventures area, where Superman is located.
