Work Continues on InvadR at Busch Gardens Williamsburg + Help Pick the Logo

Though the ride won't open until next spring, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been steadily working on InvadR's construction during this summer.  As promised, the park is also continuing to solicit feedback from the park's fans about different aspects of the wooden roller coaster, allowing them to play a role in the creation of the attraction.

Currently, fans can help select the final logo for the ride.  There are two designs, and each is presented in either red or blue, for a total of four designs to choose from.

The first design features the ride's logo along with a shield with a dragon on it, both in shades of blue and black and red and black.

Or there's a more traditional battle shield version as well, offered up in the same color schemes as the first set.  Since it is an election year after all, make your voice heard and pick your favorite to help cement the ride's logo forever, via this link.

The park, though quite a while ago, also confirmed that InvadR will be utilizing the Millennium Flyer trains that originally ran on Gwazi, up until it closed last year.  Makes sense since InvadR is also being designed and built by Great Coasters International as well.  The trains have already been moved up to Virginia for a complete restoration and retheme.

As for construction of the new coaster, the park has been working on completing the footings for its tunnel, and also completing much work on the entrance plaza for the ride.  Check out some very recent construction photos of the InvadR site from Busch Dominion.
